Next Town Hall Scheduled for April 9
The next Workday Town Hall is scheduled for Monday, April 9, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM, in the AVAYA Auditorium (POB 2.302). The presentation will be livestreamed (EID required) and the video will be posted to the Workday website. Agenda items for this meeting include:
- An update on how we are preparing campus business, technical teams, and units to be ready for go live
- An overview of End User Testing including when users from each College, School, and Unit will be selected to help test the system and gain familiarity with Workday processes
- Some of the over-arching major changes coming with the Workday system
- A preview of the activities and plans that will be put into place to successfully deploy the Workday system
- How Workday will be integrating with our existing financial systems. This meeting will provide a summary of work that is planned to bridge the new Workday system with our existing systems
- A Workday demo to show the ease of use of Workday’s web-based, mobile-friendly user interface
Upcoming Events: Workday “See the System” Demos in April
Workday “See the System” Demos will provide campus an opportunity to see processes in the Workday system, ask questions, and gain a familiarity with Workday before the university goes live with Workday’s Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll system in November. There are currently five demos scheduled for April, including one on Candidate Management/Hire, the theme of this newsletter’s Workday Brief and One-Minute Workday video.
