The following email was sent to the HRMS Users list on 10/10/2018.
HRMS Users,
In preparation for the transition to Workday, we encourage users to complete any retroactive transactions for prior fiscal years or for periods between Sept. and Oct. 2018. Any transaction that is not routed to Human Resources by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23, will be returned to the user. At 5 p.m. on Oct. 23, HRMS will become read-only.
Any transactions that do not meet this deadline will have to wait until Workday is open on Nov. 9 to be processed in Workday. Processing retroactive transactions in Workday will be a more complex process.
These transactions may include, but are not limited to:
- Faculty Summer assignments:
- Assignments that need to be entered for 6/1/2018 through 8/31/2018 or for previous years
- Funding or other changes for summer assignment periods noted above
- Modify Position for any retroactive period
- Modify Assignment for any retroactive period
- Correct Ended Incumbent for any period
