Guidance for Handling Recruitment After 10/24
View this guidance document for information on how to handle recruiting efforts after 10/24 through 1/19/2019. The old job search will continue to be available through 11/30 for applicants to apply to jobs from HRMS. All postings have to be closed on 12/1. Starting 11/9 when Workday is open, Recruiters can begin posting jobs in Workday. This means that for the month of November, UT Austin will have two job sites for applicants to review and apply to jobs.

Reminder: Important Processing Deadlines Available in the Cut Over Calendar
Important processing deadlines, events, and notifications about system availabilities around the Workday cut over is available on the Workday Cut Over Calendar. When Workday is live, many systems will be retired, will become read-only, or will be unavailable for a short amount of time. Some systems have different processing deadlines around the cut over, so please check out the Cut Over Calendar for more information.
Timesheet Guidance Updated to Include Guidance for Adjusting Time the Week of Oct. 29 – Nov. 1
After Nov. 9 when Workday is live, employees should log in and enter their time worked beginning with Thurs, Nov. 1 and Friday, Nov. 2 and submit it for approval. Please note, for this week only, entering more or less time on a later date within the week is an acceptable way to make adjustments if previous estimations need correction, with an added note to the timesheet explaining the circumstances. For example, if you estimated 8 hours worked on Wednesday, but only actually worked 6 hours, then you would enter 2 less hours worked on Nov. 1 and provide a note explaining the adjustment.
