Materials Upload Now Required for All New Job Applicants; Question on Applicant Materials to Be Added to Primary Questionnaire
New job applicants will now be required to upload materials in order to complete their application. This fix was made in order to prevent applicants from submitting incomplete applications. This will only apply to applicants applying to newly created Job Requisitions. If Hiring Managers have an applicant who submitted an incomplete application and need materials attached to their application, they should be directed to the HR Service Center.
Additionally, a question will be added to the Primary Questionnaire asking the applicant if they uploaded all of their materials. If they did not upload all of their materials, they will be instructed to go back and add all of the pertinent materials before final submitting their application. This change is expected to take place this week. Once this change is in Workday, a notice will be sent to Recruiters on the change.
Issue with Missing End Employment Dates on Add Additional Job
The Add Additional Job business process is currently experiencing a bug with the End Employment Date – the date is missing from view once the initiator submits the first step of the process or “Saves for Later”.
During this time while the bug persists, please indicate the end employment date in the comments of the transaction so that approvers are able to approve with complete information. We anticipate this issue to be resolved with the Jan. 11 Workday update.
I-9 Partners: Unplanned E-Verify Service Outage Continues
Due to the federal government shut-down, E-Verify Service continues to be unavailable. The Workday team has enabled a feature that will allow I-9 Partners to “retry” the E-Verify process once E-Verify Services are operational again.
