The Graduate School invites you to participate in the 2018 Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition.
3MT is an academic competition that challenges master’s and doctoral students to describe their research within three minutes to a general audience. The competition is made more challenging, and more interesting, by limiting the use of visual aids, props, and delivery style.
Don’t miss this opportunity to practice your presentation skills, meet other graduate students, and have a chance to win up to $1,000 in prizes!
The University of Texas at Austin 3MT Competition will be held on February 8, 2017, and we would like to encourage all master’s and doctoral students to participate.
The winning student will go on to compete in the 2018 Regional Competition in Fayetteville, Arkansas on February 24, 2018. All expenses will be paid by the Graduate School.
To learn more about the competition history, rules, and watch last year’s competition, visit our 3MT site.
