Texas Nurse Practitioners Part-Time Education Coordinator

Summary of Position:

The Education Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting in the development and administration of TNP’s education programs, program registrations, and communication with speakers, members and customers. Provides support to the CEO and Education Committee on program development, speaker and content management. This role will develop efficient and collaborative relationships with staff, education committee and exhibitors to ensure high quality educational programs that provide non-dues revenue to TNP.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain speaker databases and attendee lists for all education programs and coordinate all speaker logistics
  • Manage and administer program registrations
  • Interact with speakers, customers and vendors
  • Coordinate with Meeting Planner Consultant on AV, room set-up, F&B and venue needs
  • Prepare and distribute speaker confirmation letters, post-evaluations and honorariums
  • Handle member program and education inquiries regarding registration via phone and email
  • Complete post-course and webinar evaluation results from attendee surveys into final reports
  • Prepare program review for accreditation and required post-program reports.
  • Secure sponsorships, symposiums and vendors for conferences

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree
  2. Experience in non-profits, education, vendor relations, communication, or member relations a plus
  3. Excellent communication skills
  4. Self-motivated and ability to multi task
  5. Flexible with strong organization skills
  6. Ability to travel and occasional weekend work
  7. Ability to develop positive work relationships
  8. Energetic, friendly, outgoing and optimistic attitude
  9. Professional appearance and business conduct
  10. Experience with Mac and Microsoft Office Preferred

Other Information:

Part-time with flexibility needed due to educational events.

Occasional weekday/weekend travel.

Potential of Full-time in the Future.

Compensation: Depending on experience
