I am currently a Civil/Structural Engineer at DNV. I obtained my Bachelors and Masters degrees in Civil Engineering from the Department of Civil Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens in July 2016. Then I was accepted at The University of Texas at Austin to pursue graduate studies. In December 2019 I successfully defended my doctoral dissertation titled: “Advanced Visual Inspections of Infrastructure Systems using Artificial Inteligence and Augmented Reality Tools”. My research interests are in the areas of: damage assessment on reinforced concrete structures, computational modeling of reinforced concrete structures, and computer vision for applications in structural health monitoring.
