Tonight on Dialectica: Host/Co-producer Nadia Bobb and Co-Producer Desiree Ledet of the Public Affairs Alliance for Communities of Color (PAACC) present reflections on the Barbara Jordan Statue Unveiling last week on the UT campus. Excerpts from Prof. Jordan, columnist Molly Ivins, track and field coach Beverly Kearney, UT President William Powers Jr., former LBJ alum and teaching assistant Deann Friedholm, and author/actor Anna Deavere Smith give insight into the meaning of Barbara Jordan’s words and deeds, and how they have positively shaped our world.
