Graduate Students of the Burgermaster Lab, Erin Hudson, Dagny Larson, and Christine Ramsey, presented in the annual Data Blitz at the Nutritional Sciences Distinguished Lecture Event on November 18, 2022. During the Data Blitz, graduate student presenters have just two minutes (and one slide!) to share their recent research with the Nutritional Sciences department, visiting lecturer, and any public attendees.
- Erin Hudson shared her work on the TX STRIDE project, highlighting which measures of diet quality predict glycemic control among participants.
- Dagny Larson presented a secondary content analysis of the “Smartphone Apps in Dietetic Practice” study she conducted for her master’s thesis project. In this analysis, she is investigating if the Behavior Change Techniques Taxonomy by Michie et al. is a sufficient framework for describing behavioral nutrition interventions among dietitians.
- Christine Ramsey highlighted the key findings from her analysis between Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) and eating disorder prevalence in a national sample of sexual and gender minority (SGM) adults.
We can’t wait to see these results in publications soon!
