Madalyn Rosenthal is the Research Program Coordinator for the Burgermaster Lab. Alongside this role, she is also completing her Ph.D. under Dr. Burgermaster. Her dissertation focuses on improving nutrition training for medical students and residents by leveraging Nutri, an interactive diet goal-setting software developed by the Burgermaster Lab. After graduating from UT Austin with a B.S. Public Health in May 2019, Madalyn worked as a research assistant in the Burgermaster Lab, focusing on the preliminary development of the Nutri software and writing study protocols for community-based research projects. She also served as the coordinator for Dell Medical School’s Health Leadership Apprentice Program, where she was first introduced to interdisciplinary collaboration and health equity initiatives that drive her research passions. In her free time, Madalyn enjoys outdoor activities, cooking, making cake pops, and exploring the Austin restaurant scene.
