Mariana Rendon Flores is a first-year student in the Integrated Coordinated Program in Dietetics, a 5-year bachelor’s/master’s program in Nutritional Sciences that also includes a supervised practice in dietetics. Mariana’s career goal is to become a registered dietitian working in community or clinical settings. She hopes to work with the Latinx population to prevent chronic diseases through nutrition education and counseling. Her research interests lie in providing culturally adequate care to underserved populations. In her free time, she loves to listen to true crime podcasts and exercise.
