Dr. Torres-Verdín currently holds the Brian James Jennings Memorial Endowed Chair in Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering and the Zarrow Centennial Professorship in Petroleum Engineering, at the University of Texas at Austin Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering. He is the founder and program director of the Formation Evaluation Joint Industry Research Consortium.
