Scott Kjorlien is a student in the Master of Economics program at the University of Texas, and intends to apply to Ph.D. in Economics programs in the fall of 2021. He has worked in the environmental and energy policy space for the past six years, most recently with the Energy Efficiency Branch of the California Public Utilities Commission. Scott is interested in studying the role of policy in bringing about more socially and environmentally positive outcomes in our energy systems. He holds a B.S. in Anthropology and Geography from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) with a focus on Environmental Policy from Columbia University.
