L-R, CMS Officers Ryan Hammock and Hunter Wilkes

CMS officers Ryan Hammock and Hunter Wilkes attended the 2019 American Meteorological Society (AMS) Student Conference as a part of the 99th Annual AMS Conference in Phoenix, AZ earlier this month representing UT and CMS. There, the CMS officers were able to meet with students from similar organizations and other meteorology students from across the country. The officers were able to learn about the latest research in Atmospheric Sciences and network with professionals and students for future research and partnerships.  Going forward, the CMS officers will continue to work on their research using WRF model simulations throughout the Spring semester and look forward to having CMS involved with future AMS events.
