Fine Arts Career Services Funding Opportunities
FACS currently offers 3 funding opportunities for current students:
Intern Scholarship
Fine Arts Careers Services (FACS) and the College of Fine Arts (CoFA) are pleased to announce two intern scholarship funds: The Meredith and Cornelia Long Internship Fund and the Becker Intern Scholarship. These need-based scholarships offer undergraduate and graduate fine arts majors the opportunity to professionalize their artistic and entrepreneurial ambitions. Students must demonstrate significant financial need in order to receive a scholarship.
Students may apply for up to $2,000 of funding to support their internship experience. Students who are traveling outside of Austin for their internship may apply for an additional $1,000 to use towards travel and lodging.
Please visit the Intern Scholarship page for more information.
Professional Development Travel Initiative*
*Please note that PDTI is on hold for the 2020-2021 Long Session in compliance with UT’s Travel Ban.
The College of Fine Arts (COFA) and Fine Arts Career Services (FACS) are pleased to offer financial support to qualifying groups of students who design their own professional development travel opportunities through the Professional Development Travel Initiative (PDTI). The PDTI provides up to $700 per student for short-term (3-5 day) group travel to professional development opportunities. All currently enrolled undergraduates whose majors are in COFA are eligible to apply. Groups should be between 2-5 students. Individuals will be considered in rare cases, but priority will be given to groups.
