Finding a place to rehearse or produce work is a challenge for most artists after attending school. How can we be creative about making room for our art and research in our spaces at home? For this open discussion, we invite you to share how you have organized your personal space and schedule for productivity! You will also get a sneak peak at Career Services Manager, Calder Kamin’s, home studio!
It seems we never have enough time to get all of our tasks done. How have you adapted your daily routine while we must be still? In this discussion, we will reflect on how we have managed our time in the past, how students can stay on top of school assignments and their projects and share the apps, rituals and routines we’ve applied to maximize our schedule.
This is an open discussion for student and staff to share resources that would helpful for other students. We want to know! Topic is open but suggestions include: What are some great links for learning and research you’ve discovered recently? How do you practice self-care at home? What types of opportunities and organizations do you participate in on campus and online? Where do you buy your materials? Where can you find TP? Sharing is caring!
Figuring out your career first steps can be a little daunting and confusing. With the help of your peers and FACS staff, we will discuss ways to discover your gifts and how they are applicable to employers. We will also brainstorm some next steps you can take as you begin your career journey
