We are pleased to officially invite you to the 2023 Graduation Ceremony for the College of Fine Arts! At this ceremony graduates will be given individual recognition. The following will be very important information pertinent to your commencement event experience!
Information for Guests
Tickets for the Fine Arts Ceremony are sold out. No additional tickets will be offered.
The ceremony will be live streamed for guests who are unable to attend.
You should urge your guests to arrive early to ensure optimum seating at the venue. There will be no parking available in the immediate vicinity of Bass Concert Hall where the ceremony will be held, but free parking will be available across campus. For parking information, please visit this information page.
Screenshots of tickets will not scan properly at the doors. To share tickets, the original recipient must download them and share them through their phone’s wallet.
If accommodations are needed for disabled graduates, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org within at least 5 business days advance notice so potential arrangements can be made.
Guests can be dropped off at the Bass Concert Hall loading area directly in front of the venue’s plaza off of Deloss Dodds Way. The concert hall does have wheelchair accessible seating as well as a borrowable wheel chair. You can go to Bass Concert Hall’s Guest Services desk (located in the lobby) to have an usher escort you and your family to the ADA seating area.

The University coordinates professional photos of each graduate as they walk across the stage. Graduates and families have the option of purchasing these photographs. Flash Photography provides free color proofs to each graduate. Proofs are mailed to the permanent address within two weeks of graduation. The University’s commencement ceremony is a separate event held at DKR Memorial Stadium the day after the Fine Arts Commencement on Saturday, May 6th at 7:30pm. Graduates and families must have tickets to attend. All information on how to get tickets and the event itself can be found here.

Graduate Participant Logistics
Graduate check-in will be at the loading dock for Bass Concert Hall (north side of DFA). Graduates whose last names start with A-M must arrive by 10:15 a.m for their check-in. Graduates whose last names start with N-Z must arrive by 10:35 a.m. for their check-in. Please do not bring your guests to the loading dock.
