October 23, 2013: President Powers authors Houston Chronicle op ed “Higher Ed Needs Investment” (Recommendation 16).

September 1, 2013: University adpots updated Student Honor Code after soliciting student input (Recommendation 11). Original Honor Code becomes the University Code of Conduct.

August 13, 2013: President Powers issues “A Report on Technology-Enhanced Education” (Recommendation 15)

May 9, 2011: President Powers makes report “The Public Research University of the Future” to the Commission and UT community.

January 18, 2011: Student Activities Center (SAC) is opened, completing Recommendation 10.

October 9, 2009: The Commission reconvened for the fifth time.
