Tyler Faust is a 2021 graduate of the Master of Global Policy Studies program at the LBJ School of Public Affairs with a specialization in human rights. He received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2017. His research interests include LGBTQ rights and international law.
Olivia Hay is a 2021 graduate of the Master of Global Policy Studies program at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. She received her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Oberlin College in 2017. Her policy interests include conflict prevention and peacebuilding with a regional interest in South Asia.
Tara Hoch is a second-year Master of Global Policy Studies candidate at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, a freelance writer and designer, and a former public relations assistant. Her undergraduate degree is in political science from Lamar University in 2017. Tara is pursuing a career in conflict prevention.
Lexi Jovanovic is a second year dual-degree M.A. student in Global Policy Studies and Russian, Eastern European, and Eurasian Studies at UT-Austin. Lexi earned her B.A. in International Security Studies from the University of Oklahoma in 2018. Her research interests include Russian foreign policy, post-Soviet transition, and intelligence studies.
Thomas Rehnquist is a 2021 dual-degree graduate of the M.A. programs in Global Policy Studies and Russian, Eastern European, and Eurasian Studies at UT-Austin. Thomas graduated from Bowdoin College in 2016 with a B.A. in history. He previously hosted and produced a student-run podcast, The Slavic Connexion.
Jonathan Roberts is a 2021 graduate of the Master of Global Policy Studies program at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Prior to LBJ, Jonathan worked in the Texas House of Representatives and earned his B.A. in Asian Studies, Government, and International Relations from UT-Austin. Jonathan currently works in the office of U.S. Senator Ben Sasse.
Alan J. Kuperman is Associate Professor at the LBJ School of Public Affairs, University of Texas at Austin. His books include Constitutions and Conflict Management in Africa: Preventing Civil War through Institutional Design. In 2013-2014, he was a senior fellow at the U.S. Institute of Peace, and in 2009-2010 a fellow at the Wilson Center.
