About the Unconventional Wisdom Series
“Unconventional Wisdom” is a collection of new or under-reported family research and clinical findings issued each year by the Council on Contemporary Families just prior to its annual conference. In preparation for the CCF’s 19th Annual Conference, the Council asked conference participants, researchers, practitioners and others in the academic or clinical community, to submit brief summaries of recent high-priority work. We include the contact information for the researchers and practitioners so that individuals seeking more information can request the full reports on which these brief summaries are based.
