Chloe E. Bird, PhD is a senior sociologist at the RAND Corporation, where she studies women’s health and determinants of gender differences in health and health care. She is also a professor at the Pardee RAND Graduate School and Associate Editor of the journal Women’s Health Issues. She is Principal Investigator of a study assessing the impact of OTC emergency contraception on birth rates across racial/ethnic groups, and Co-Principal Investigator of a study of the economic impact of increasing research on women’s health.
