TSBP CE Requirements
PPS programming stays on top of TSBP CE Requirements to ensure pharmacists have what they need to renew their licenses when the time comes.

2024 PPS includes the following TSBP Pharmacist CE Requirements
- Texas Pharmacy Law (1.5 hours)
- Pain Management (1.0 hour – on demand)
- Mental Health Awareness (2.0 hours)
- Human Trafficking for Pharmacists (1.0 hour)
- Prescribing & Monitoring Controlled Substances (1.0 hour – required for new Texas pharmacists, general requirement expired but recommended)
- Opioid Use Disorder Update (1.0 hour – no longer required, but legislatively “recommended”)

2024 PPS includes the following TSBP CE Requirements for Special Certification Maintenance
- Immunization (up to 3 hours – optional session live Friday)
- Sterile Compounding (up to 2 hours – on demand)
- Preceptor Education (up to 2 hours – on demand)
