Presentation: Interdisciplinary Approaches to Treating Chronic Pain
Dr. Ouyang graduated with his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in May 2012. He completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency at the Salem Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salem, Virginia and then a PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy residency at the VA Western New York in Buffalo, NY. He then completed a two-year interprofessional addiction treatment fellowship at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. In August 2016, he accepted a position at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the newly created Primary Care Complex Pain Clinic, where he continues to work in the same capacity. He also serves on the Opioid Safety Initiative workgroup, the local pain committee, and as a VA Clinical Pharmacy Program Office Subject Matter Expert in pain.
