Internships/Funding: Summer Internship Funding

The Clements Center for History, Strategy & Statecraft is seeking applications for funding from undergraduate and graduate students who have secured unpaid summer internships related to national security and foreign policy.

Funding will be awarded to those students whose summer work best reflects the mission and goals of the Clements Center. Past recipients have interned with the Department of State, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the Project on Middle East Democracy, and the House Armed Services Committee.Because internships in foreign and defense policy can be an essential part of professional development, the Clements Center created a database containing information on a broad range of summer opportunities. Interested applicants should email their resume, a one-page internship description, and an estimated budget to Jacqueline Chandler at by Monday, April 13thAward amounts vary.
