The University Center for International Studies (UCIS) was created as the University of Pittsburgh’s encompassing framework for all its multidisciplinary international programs and we are seeking a qualified Assistant Director for Partnerships and Programming to serve in the Center for Russian and East European Studies (REES).

The Assistant Director for Partnerships and Programming (ADPP) will participates in the planning, development and administration of international programming, major grants and partnerships focused on the social sciences and professional fields such as law, business, public policy, the health sciences and engineering. The Assistant Director will also work with the Study Abroad Office to develop new area-related programming, collaborate with other UCIS units to develop cross-regional initiatives, develop a speaker series and other public events related to the above-listed fields, and is the Center’s primary liaison with social science departments, professional schools and the public, private and NGO sectors in Pittsburgh and the region. This position is full-time, 100% effort (37.5 hours/week).

Hiring Range: $34,476.00 – $55,848.00

Education Required: Master’s

Minimum Related Experience Level Required: 2-3 years experience
