Assistant Professor in the history of Eastern Europe and/or Russia
The History Department at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville invites applications for a tenure track assistant professorship in the history of Eastern Europe and/or Russia (imperial, Soviet, or post-Soviet), 1600 to present. The appointment will begin fall semester 2017. Ph.D required at the time of appointment. Research specialization is open. Teaching duties include a survey in Western or World Civilization and upper division undergraduate and graduate courses in candidate’s area of specialization. The Knoxville campus of the University of Tennessee is seeking candidates who have the ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the diversity and intercultural goals of the University.
