The Anna Hiss Ambassador

The primary role of the Anna Hiss Ambassador is to serve as a caretaker and liaison for the space. They assist staff, faculty, and students with room reservations and the Mobile Print Station, among other things. Furthermore, they have designated times when students can meet with them to voice concerns, ask questions, or chat with someone for critique, learn about UT design, or just have a design-related conversation.

Additionally, they ensure the proper maintenance of the space, including adherence to RESET procedures and upkeep of its general appearance.

The ambassadors are also instrumental in developing and advancing the space’s offerings. They play a crucial role in placemaking and overall AHG function by experimenting with different prototypes and configurations to better serve the design community.
