Who are we?
We are a group of researchers and students at The University of Texas at Austin. We are interested in learning more about use of digital tools for better heart health.
What do we study?
We study how digital tools can provide information and support behaviors for taking better care of your heart condition.
Who is eligible to participate?
We could not answer these interesting questions without your help! We are looking for older adults between ages 45 – 99 and diagnosed with heart failure to participate in our studies. To find out if you are eligible, please contact us.
What is it like to participate in a study?
- Use digital tools on a smartphone for 24 weeks
- Complete surveys that take about 30-55 minutes to complete at 4 time points over 24 weeks
The interview, survey completion and digital tool testing sessions will be conducted online at a time and day that you prefer.
What will I get for participating?
Participating in this study may improve your knowledge and skills to care for heart failure. You will also receive $40 gift card in appreciation to participating in this study.
