3D Printing

The 3D Digital Fabrication Lab houses the following 3D printers: one Bambu Lab X1-Carbon, two Bambu Lab P1S, and one Formlabs Form 3.

To 3D print, students must submit a closed 3D model to the Fab Lab To-Go Service. All potential prints must be to scale in inches.  Binary Stereolithography files (.stl) are required for all machines.

The lab charges for 3D printing material at cost. FDM printing is $0.05 per gram of PLA filament. FDM with flexible (TPU) filament is $0.07 per gram. SLA printing is $0.12 per mL of resin. Estimates will be provided before printing and all payments must be made via Bevo Pay before a student can pick up their successful print. There is a minimum charge of $2.00.
