WELCOME

The Department of Art and Art History’s Digital Fabrication Lab houses the newest means of computer visualization and fabrication. Lab resources include 3D modeling software, multiple 3D scanners, a vinyl cutter, a laser cutter, two CNC milling machines that carve a variety of materials from scanned or modeled data, and multiple 3D printers that additively create objects. Art Studio, Art History, and Design students use the lab to create a range of class projects and faculty utilize the lab to supplement their existing studio practice and research.
