This past Saturday, ECS student officers and members gathered in Waco, TX, for an event filled with camaraderie, brainstorming, and fun! Participants included members from three distinguished ECS student chapters: UT Austin, UT Dallas, and Texas A&M University.
The day began at the Union Hall in Downtown Waco, a vibrant venue perfect for our gathering. It was an excellent opportunity for members and officers to introduce themselves and mingle, fostering a sense of community and connection. Over a delightful lunch, we discussed various aspects of our organization and laid the groundwork for exciting joint ECS activities planned for 2024 (stay tuned!!!!!!)
The afternoon was marked by a visit to the iconic Dr. Pepper Museum, where we captured memories with fantastic photos. The day was rounded off with leisure time in a local park, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the beautiful Texan outdoors.
This event was not just about meeting and planning but about building a community of passionate individuals dedicated to electrochemistry. We invite all ECS members to join us in future events to experience this wonderful blend of professional growth and personal enjoyment. Your participation makes these gatherings truly special!
