Poster Session

The poster session is open to all attendees. Posters may be presented by undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs and researchers, as well as to industry and national labs. Reserve a spot for your poster as you complete your registration.

Poster titles need to be confirmed by 12:00 pm, September 7, 2024.

The poster session is an excellent opportunity for networking, building relationships with peers from other institutions across Texas and meet with industry and research representatives.

All registered presenters will also enter a poster competition with awards sponsored by ECS!

Parking

The Workshop will be held at the Robert A. Welch Building (Welch Hall, or WEL) on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin. It is recommended to park in any of the dedicated UT parking garages (more information below). However, Free parking can be found along 30th, 31st and 32nd Street north of campus (10 minutes walk). Metered parking by the city is also available on Dean Keaton Street closer to the venue.

Lodging/Accommodations

Are you planning to stay in Austin before or after the symposium? We recommend the Days Inn by Wyndham Austin/University and the Moxy Austin – University, both conveniently located close to campus and just a short walk from Welch Hall. Visiting Austin

The workshop location is near to the many recreational and cultural attractions of the Austin Hill Country. The Austin campus is the site of 17 libraries and several world-class museums, and just a short walk or ride away from central Austin attractions: The Bob Bullock Texas History Museum, the Texas State Capitol, Congress Avenue, and 6th Street and the Warehouse shopping and entertainment districts.
