Edit the text section on the homepage

By

  1. Go to Appearance → Widgets
  2. In the right column, go to Home-Middle 1 → Genesis-Featured Page
  3. In the Page field, choose the page from which the text will be sourced.
  4. Choose to Show Featured Image if desired
  5. Change the Content Character Limit to show more or less text on the homepage
  6. Click Save
