Add a Featured Image to text section on the homepage

Prepare your image. The dimensions of the featured image will be square (150 x 150 pixels). Crop your image accordingly.
Upload your image to the Media section.
Open up the Page or Post (ex. Pages -> About) that will have the image.
In the right column under “Featured Image”, click on “Set featured image.”
In the window that pops up, choose your image from the “Media Library” tab and click “Set featured image.”
Click on “Update” to save the changes.
Click on Appearance → Widgets → Home Middle 1 → (the widget that contains the Page or Post where the image will go)
Click the box that says “Show Featured Image”; the Image Size should be “thumbnail (150×150)”; change “Image Alignment” to “Left.”
Click on Save.
