- Prepare your image. The dimensions of the featured image will be square (150 x 150 pixels). Crop your image accordingly.
- Upload your image to the Media section.
- Open up the Page or Post (ex. Pages -> About) that will have the image.
- In the right column under “Featured Image”, click on “Set featured image.”
- In the window that pops up, choose your image from the “Media Library” tab and click “Set featured image.”
- Click on “Update” to save the changes.
- Click on Appearance → Widgets → Home Middle 1 → (the widget that contains the Page or Post where the image will go)
- Click the box that says “Show Featured Image”; the Image Size should be “thumbnail (150×150)”; change “Image Alignment” to “Left.”
- Click on Save.
