Nefertitti Jackmon

Nefertitti Jackmon serves as Austin’s first Community Displacement Prevention Officer. Jackmon has been instrumental in developing and leading programming and outreach, including the $300 million anti-displacement investments and strategies for Project Connect, described as a “comprehensive transit system expansion that will help transform Austin into one of the most sustainable, inclusive and innovative regions in the country.” Nefertitti is responsible for creating investments, planning processes, programs and policies that help stabilize households and expand economic opportunities. With more than 25 years of service in the nonprofit sector, she desires to see economic mobility opportunities as a foundation to tackle displacement pressures.

Elizabeth Baker

As the Chief Programs Officer for The Other Ones Foundation (TOOF), Elizabeth Baker serves to develop, implement and monitor TOOF’s programs. Elizabeth comes to TOOF with 11 years of experience in homeless, housing, substance use and mental health services. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she brings skills in social interventions and systemic change to elevate TOOF’s operations and collaborative involvement in the continuum of homeless and housing care in Austin.

Steven Pedigo

A native Texan, Steven Pedigo (he/him/his) has advised over 100 cities, universities, developers, nonprofits, and Fortune 500 companies worldwide on economic development, anchor engagement, placemaking, and city strategy. He has also founded two university research, policy, and engagement centers. Currently, he serves as the assistant dean for faculty of practice and policy engagement and the founding executive director of the LBJ Urban Lab at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. In this role, he spearheaded the Texas Metropolitan Blueprint, a public-private network that brought together U.S. Cabinet Secretaries, city and state officials from both political parties, and civic and business leaders from across the state to outline priorities for cities and metros. Among UT’s ten most-cited faculty members in the media, Steven has published articles and op-eds in The New York Times, Dallas Morning News, Houston Chronicle, and more. He is also a founding partner at CivicSol, a leading economic development and strategy practice.

Heidi Kasper

Heidi Kasper is Austin Energy’s Director of Green Building and Emerging Technologies. Austin Energy is the City of Austin’s municipally-owned electric utility. Her work across these teams focuses on the development of a grid-friendly, low-carbon built environment at the intersection of buildings, electric mobility and distributed energy resource integration. Austin Energy Green Building (AEGB), is the award-winning program credited with developing the first green building rating in the country. The program contributes to Austin Energy’s energy efficiency and demand reduction goals as well as promoting and supporting other City of Austin sustainability goals, through education, ratings and codes.

Ryan Colker

Ryan M. Colker is Vice President, Innovation at the International Code Council (ICC) where he leads the Energy, Resilience and Innovation Center of Focus. Prior to joining ICC, Colker served as Vice President at the National Institute of Building Sciences where he directed the Consultative Council and served as staff director of the National Council on Building Codes and Standards; the Off-Site Construction Council and the Institute’s STEM Education Program.

Andrew Rothgaber

Andrew is the Senior Director of Public Sector Business Development at ICON, where he spearheads the integration of ICON’s groundbreaking technologies in housing and construction with public sector organizations, including the U.S. Government, private foundations, and nonprofits.

Santiago Ossa

Santiago is a strategist for industrialized construction and stakeholder management. A Principal at ADL Ventures, he advises ConTech startups on product development and go-to-market strategy and helps bridge the divide with construction incumbents to help commercialize innovations. He was a member of the teaching team for Industrialized Construction and Venture Creation at Stanford University.
