2025 Registration

Membership: It is longstanding policy of the American Society of Ethnohistory that conference registrants also be current ASE members. Please join/renew your ASE membership through the Duke University Press’s website, here, before the conference. Annual conference registration and ASE memberships are distinct.

Beginning August 1, 2025: Regular: $175; Students: $125; Students from UT San Antonio, UT Austin, and Texas State: $0

Cost: $0. Come recover from your day of travel with drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Registering helps us know how much food and drink to have on hand.

Thursday Evening (October 9, 2025) Post-Plenary Reception at UTSA Downtown
Cost: $0. Join us for drinks and hors d’oeuvres after the Plenary Session on Indigenous Texas. Sponsored by the Native American and Indigenous Studies Program at The University of Texas and Duke University Press

SOLD OUT! Friday Afternoon (October 10, 2025; 2:00pm – 2:50pm) “Maya Blue: Ancient Color, New Visions” Tour at the San Antonio Museum of Art
Cost: $27

The Tour will focus on the current exhibit “Maya Blue: Ancient Color, New Visions” as well as other pieces by Native artists or portraying Native subjects.  The tour will be led by Kristopher Driggers, Ph.D., Associate Curator of Latin American Art at the San Antonio Museum of Art.

SOLD OUT! Saturday Morning (October 11, 2025; 8:30am – 12:30pm) Yanaguana Indigenous Missions Tour
Cost: $60. Learn more about Indigenous San Antonio visiting nearby Spanish colonial missions, including Mission San Juan Capistrano, Mission San José y San Miguel de Aguayo, and Mission Nuestra Señora de la Purísima Concepción de Acuña. Tour is organized by the American Indians in Texas at the Spanish Colonial Missions.
