Reading the First Books at LASA

“The Electronic Edition of Colonial and Nineteenth-Century Latin American Texts: New Tools, New Models for Collaboration”

XXXIV International Congress of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA), New York City

Saturday, May 28, 2016, 8-9:30 a.m.

The “Reading the First Books” project will be at LASA as part of a workshop to be held at this year’s LASA Congress on the electronic edition of colonial texts. This session brings together a diverse group of experts for a conversation designed to reveal new possibilities for collaboration on Digital Humanities projects related to colonial and nineteenth-century Latin America.

Come learn about new developments with the project from both Hannah Alpert-Abrams, the project GRA, and Liz Grumbach, our Texas A&M University liaison.

Read more about the panel on Facebook or the LASA website. We’ll report back after the conference!
