Absolute Giganten (1999) is set over one long, restless night in Hamburg. The film follows three close friends—Floyd, Walter, and Rico, whose routines of late-night football matches, kebab runs, and aimless conversations form the fragile glue of their friendship. When Floyd reveals that he plans to leave Hamburg the next day, the night quietly shifts in tone. What begins as casual hanging out turns into a series of encounters that expose unspoken fears, jealousy, and the uncertainty of early adulthood.
