First GISense Lab Group Meeting!

On February 7, 2025, we officially launched the first GISense Lab group meeting at the WCP 4.160, the newly renovated space! It marks the beginning of an exciting journey for our GISense lab as we build a collaborative research environment at the intersection of GIScience, Geospatial Data Science, and GeoAI.

We welcomed our new visiting Ph.D. student Koichi Ito from the National University of Singapore. Two Ph.D. students Hanqi Li and Haofeng Tan joined remotely. Two undergraduates Mathis and Albert attended the in-person meeting.

Looking forward, the GISense Lab will hold regular group meetings to brainstorm new ideas, discuss progress, facilitate research collaborations, and support professional growth.
