Joshua Busby
Joshua Busby is a Professor of Public Affairs and a Distinguished Scholar at the Robert S. Strauss Center for International Security and Law. In 2021-2022, he was on leave serving as a Senior Advisor for Climate at the U.S. Department of Defense. He retains a part-time appointment to DOD in 2022-2023.
Busby is the author of numerous studies on climate change, climate and security, and energy policy that have been published by peer-reviewed academic outlets and various think tanks.
Nathan Jensen
Nathan Jensen (2002, Yale Ph.D.) is a Professor in the Department of Government at the University of Texas-Austin. He only speaks in the third person for the purposes of website bios.
He was previously an associate professor in the Department of International Business at George Washington University (2014-2016) and associate professor in the Political Science Department at Washington University in St. Louis (2002-2014).
He teaches courses and conducts research on government economic development strategies, firm non-market strategies and business-government relations, the politics of oil and natural resources, political risk in emerging markets, trade policy, and international institutions. Not all at once.
Paul Orszag
Paul Orszag is a Master of Global Policy Studies candidate at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas-Austin where focuses his research on international climate policy and security, and clean energy deployment.
Prior to coming to UT-Austin, Paul worked as an analyst in the sports media and real estate acquisition industries focusing on contracts, negotiations, and financial analyses.
Isabella Steinhauer
Bella Steinhauer is a second-year Master of Public Affairs student at the LBJ School of Public Affairs. Her policy specializations include climate change, food systems, and migration. Prior to graduate school, Bella worked for a Singapore-based startup that delivers design thinking and social entrepreneurship education focused on achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals in Southeast Asia.
