After 28 years on campus, 15 as a government department advisor, Jo Anne Huber has retired. Nathan Vickers has been promoted to replace Jo Anne as academic advising coordinator.

Nathan Vickers will serve a two-year term on the Board of Directors for the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) effective in the fall 2012. He will also be president of the Academic Counselors’s Association (ACA) on the UT-Austin campus.
Jo Anne Huber was selected for the Distinguished Service to Advising in the College of Liberal Arts for 2012.
Jo Anne Huber was appointed Chair of the NACADA Summer Institute Advisory Board for 2012-2014.
Matthew Haynes will present a paper at the Annual NACADA Conference in Nashville in October 2012.
