This series of videos features real-life health professionals in a hospital setting demonstrating the use of SBIRT, an evidence-based intervention that can be used with patients who present with potentially high-risk substance use.
The videos were made under the direction of HBRT Director Mary Marden Velasquez, PhD, and Co-Director Kirk von Sternberg, PhD, along with Jennifer Sharpe Potter, PhD, MPH, Senior Executive Vice President for Research and Innovation at UT Health San Antonio, with support from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission through federal funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration grant award number HHS001196700002.
