Raat Yun Dil Mein Teri
by Faz Ahmed Faiz
Raat yun dil mein teri, khoyi hui yaad aayi
Jaise viraane mein chupke se bahaar aa jaye
Jaise sahraon mein haule se chale baad-ae-naseem
Jaise bimaar ko be-wajaah quraar aa jaaye
Translation by Vikram Seth
Last night your faded memory came to me
As in the wilderness spring comes quietly,
As, slowly, in the desert, moves the breeze,
As, to a sick man, without cause, comes peace.
Translation by Agha Shahid Ali
At night my lost memory of you returned
and I was like the empty field where springtime,
without being noticed, is bringing flowers;
I was like the desert over which
the breeze moves gently, with great care;
I was like the dying patient
who, for no reason, smiles.
Translation by Sarvat Rahman
Last night, your long-lost memory came back to me as though
Spring stealthily should come to a forsaken wilderness
A gentle breeze its fragrance over burning deserts blow
Or, all at once be soothed somehow the sick soul’s distress.
If perhaps buying a pre-made food supply package merely doesnt suit your budget, then your best option would be to create your own emergency food supply. Do you know what you and your family participants like to try to eat, which will then easily allow you to make purchases based off of that.
Its Pleasure to understand your blog.The around articles or blog posts is relatively extraordinary, and I quite enjoyed reading your blog and things that you expressed. I quite like to look back over a standard basis,post additional inside topic.Thanks for sharingkeep writing!!!
I am impressed, I must say. Very seldom do I encounter a blog thats both educational and entertaining, and let me tell you, you have hit the nail on the head. Your blog is outstanding; the issue is something that not many people are speaking intelligently about. Im really happy that I stumbled across this in my search for something relating to it.
