Aylin studied Government and English at the University of Texas and became certified to teach through UTeach Liberal Arts. Since then, she has worked in non-profits and education, including four years teaching Reading at a middle school in south Austin. She believes the creation of human-centered technology makes the world a better, more equitable place, so she’s thrilled to focus on User Experience Research and Design at the School of Information. In her spare time, she loves cooking, reading poetic prose, and playing with her two cats: Jimmy and Gordon.
