Beth graduated with a degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville. After college, she Oregon-trailed her way to Portland where she grew kale on her porch, watched movies and worked with kids, before eventually rerouting to Austin TX. Becoming an AmeriCorps VISTA in ATX led her to nonprofit financial literacy and accessibility work. Later, she would have the privilege of working in UT’s Library system, focusing on accessibility for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. After a couple of years at UT she started at the iSchool where she studies User Experience Research. In her free time she rock climbs, reads and drinks hot tea with honey. She is currently obsessed with lake swimming and teaching her dog new tricks.
