The Initiative supports educational activities both on- and off-campus. The Initiative supports research experiences for undergraduate and graduate students through a student fellows program, an undergraduate research apprenticeship program (URAP), and a pending Bridging Disciplines Program (to begin in 2024).
In partnership with the Institute for Justice and Equity at Huston-Tillotson University, the Initiative also supports free micro-courses open to the public on a range of issues. Current micro-course offerings including grant writing and administration, data management and analysis, and the production and use of video evidence.
