Members of Dr. Vernon L Snoeyink’s Research Group at the University of Illinois, including Dr. Mary Jo Kirisits, had a wonderful group reunion in August 2023.
Our research is focused on the intersection of biology and environmental engineering. Current projects span topics ranging from the development of a novel treatment of Legionella pneumophila to the elucidation of the mechanisms of antibiotic resistance in Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
