Job Posting: Student Technology Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Student Technology Assistants (STA) will work individually in a collaborative environment with the Director and staff of the Center of European Studies (CES), as well as LAITS staff assisting CES in the ongoing management and production of its monthly e-newsletter and websites. The STA, who will work in one of CES’s main offices, will upload web content and e- newsletter content. CES will provide the STA with the necessary computer and software equipment for the job.

Work Days and Times:
M-F, times depend on your class schedule
Hours per Week:
10 hours on average
Hourly Wage:
$9.92 – $18.59 depending on qualifications/resume/portfolio

QUALIFICATIONS
Have a background in web design, and demonstrate experience with related pro- grams and languages (preferably Photoshop, HTML, and Basic CSS – additional skills in Ad- vanced CSS, Content Management Systems, and mass email marketing are not necessary but considered a strong plus). Above aver- age creativity is necessary, along with a strong sense of design. An ability to write and edit for the web is also desirable. Atten- tion to detail is absolutely essential, as well as punctuality, reliability, and (if possible) a decent sense of humor.
