Internships at the Texas House of Representatives and Texas Senate

Spring 2013

The Honorable Tryon D. Lewis, State Representative, District 81, is once again looking for LAH students to serve as interns in the upcoming legislative session, beginning in January 2013.  He will have a position in his office and tells me that he is willing to find other opportunities for LAH students in the offices of his fellow Representatives and Senators.

Students should be able to devote a good deal of time to this endeavor, which means having a relatively light spring schedule or one that frees up several whole days during the week.

LAH student, Armen Hazarian, served in Representative Lewis’s office last year, and both the Representative and his chief assistant have nothing but praise for his work.  So if you are interested, you may want to talk with Armen.

This is an extraordinary opportunity, and I hope many will take advantage of it.  If interested, please submit to the LAH Office a cover letter, outlining your educational background and interests and an updated résumé by 5:00 pm on Monday, October 22^nd.
