Interns Wanted for Phi Beta Kappa

Phi Beta Kappa is seeking college juniors and seniors majoring in the liberal arts or sciences to serve as writing interns. Students must be able to make a five-month commitment to the program and write at least six short articles for The Key Reporter website

Looking for Candidates Who:

  • Possess strong writing and editing skills
  • Cover topics with a direct connection to Phi Beta Kappa, its events, and its members
  • Conduct independent research, including interviews
  • Meet deadlines with minimum supervision

Students do not need to be members of Phi Beta Kappa to serve as writing interns, but they must be recommended by the Phi Beta Kappa chapter at their university to be considered for the program.

November 11, 2016: Deadline for chapter recommendations for internships starting January 2017 

April 21, 2017: Deadline for internships starting August 2017
